My Happy Marriage premiered on the 5th of July this year and since its initial opening, the popularity has widened due to amazing visuals and plotline. After a week-long wait, the third episode will be released on Thursday, 19th July.
For the unversed, the show is set up in the Meiji Restoration era and revolves around Miyo Saimori, who is born without any evident supernatural skills and put to service by her stepmother. When she comes to the age of marriage, her luck plays no good role as her to be fiancé Kiyoka Kudou, a commander known for his cold behavior comes into her life. Kiyoka’s nature is also the reason why his previous partners have also not survived with him long enough.
But as time progresses, Miyo comes to know the true nature of Kiyoka and realizes he is not as bad as he seemed to be. Their interactions make them believe that maybe there could be a chance of finding love within their relationship.
The third episode will release at 11:30 pm Japanese time, while for different time zones, it will release at 7:30 am PT, 9:30 am CT, 10:30 am ET, 4:30 pm CET, and 8:00 pm IST.
For the Japanese viewers, the episode will air on Tokyo MX, KBS, and other channels while for the international audience, it will stream on Netflix as well.
The anime is adapted from Akumi Agitogi’s light novel series which was further taken into a manga version. In March 2023, a live-action film was also released, which was directed by Ayuko Tsukahara.
The TV adaption was announced last year in April. The show is directed by Takehiro Kubota at Kinema Citrus. The third episode will release on Thursday and it would be exciting to witness how with every obstacle their relationship would take a new turn and bring them close to each other.
