‘Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai Suru Hanashi’ anime’s new key visual released- Check out

The makers of the anime Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai Suru Hanashi (You Were Experienced, I wasn’t, And This is How We Started Dating) have revealed a new key visual. The anime is scheduled to release in October this year.

The key visual features the characters Runa Shirakawa, Nikoru Yamana, and Akari Tanikita wearing swimsuits and on the beach. The illustration is named ‘sea bathing visual.’

Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai Suru Hanashi is a Japanese light novel series written by Makiko Nagaoka and was published by Fujimi Shobo on the 19^th of September 2020. It has six volumes so far.

It was also renewed for a manga version, which was published by Square Enix and serialized in their Gangan Online magazine on the 23^rd of February 2022. As of now, three volumes have been released.

The story revolves around Ryuto Kashima, a social outcast, and Runa Shirakawa, a popular girl in the school. But after losing a game, Ryuto is supposed to ask Runa out and she ends up going with him. As they are totally different personalities, their friends and likes are also not similar. However, after spending time together, they accept each other’s realities and create a wonderful bond.

In 2022, an anime adaption for the story was announced and the official trailer and cast of the anime was revealed earlier this year. The show would be animated by ENGI Studious and directed by Hideaki Oba. The script work and series composition will be done by Hiroko Fukuda. Yousuke Itou will be handling character design while Kei Haneoka is the music composer.

The cast members include Natsuki Hanae as Ryuto, Saori Oonishi as Runa, Aoi Koga as Maria Kurose, Ayaka Fukuhara as Nikoru, Fukushi Ochiai as Yuusuke Ijichi, Tomori Kusunoki as Akari, Daisuke Sakaguchi as Ren Nishina and Tomoaki Maeno as Shogo Sekiya.
