Padmini OTT release date and everything you need to know

The Malayalam film Padmini is all set to make a grand release on Netflix on the 11th of August. The movie initially got released on the 23rd of June in theatres. It has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences and will now make its entry on the digital platform.
The announcement was made on the official Twitter handle for South India. The post read, “Padmini varunnu Netflixile. Kaanende? 11th August – take note of the date students #PadminionNetflix.”
The film is directed by Senna Hegde while the script is written by Deepu Pradeep, who had also previously worked on Kunhiramayanam. The cast members include Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Madonna Sebastian, and Vincy Aloshious in key roles. While Malavika Menon, Althaf Salim, Ganapathy, Sajin Cherukayil, Anand Manmadhan, Seema G Nair, Gokulan, and James Elia are in the supporting roles.
With Kunchacko Boban in the lead role, the movie talks about a full-time teacher and half-time poet Rameshans, whose life takes an interesting turn when he becomes the center of jokes due to the embarrassing situations that come across him.
In a recent interview with a media agency, Senna Hegde said that Padmini is a very simple film and audiences would love the presence of Kunchacko in it, considering the recent films he had done have had an intense context. Fans would be equally amazed to see him in a different setup and that would be a boon for them (makers).
