The official Twitter handle for the show Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou (The Family Circumstances of the Unreliable Witch) has released details about the theme songs and summer festival visual. The key visual stars the main characters, Alyssa and Viola. The anime is all set to hit your TV screens in October, this year.

The opening song ‘Sugar Doughnuts’ for Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou will be performed by Nana Mizuki. While the ending song ‘Welcome!’ will be joined in by Angela. Earlier this year, the trailer, staff, and additional cast details were revealed.

The cast member includes Takaya Hashi as Phoenix, Romi Park as Lila, and Kana Hanazawa as the narrator. While Alyssa will be voiced by Aoi Kogo and Viola by Nana Mizuki.
Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou is a Japanese manga series written by Piroya and published by Flex Comic. It was serialized in their Comic Meteor magazine on the 3rd of July 2019. The manga series has five volumes so far.
A year ago, the official announcement was made regarding the television adaptation of the manga series. The show will be directed by Masahiro Takata at A-Real Studious. Script work and series composition will be done by Gyro Knuckle. Miwa Yoshida will be handling the character design and is also assigned as the chief animation director.
The fantasy-comedy anime revolves around Alyssa, a witch who has been dwelling in the forest for the longest time. One such day, she founds an abandoned human baby there. Alyssa raises her and names her Viola. When she turns 16 years old, she looks bigger than her mother and people misunderstand their relationship. However, the series follows the usual life of the protagonists and offers some light-hearted comedy in the magical world.
