Shigeru Mizuki’s classic manga Akuma-kun is getting an anime adaptation as earlier announced by Netflix. Ahead of the show’s release a new trailer and new key visual have been revealed, spiking up audiences’ curiosity. Several adaptions are already being done for the manga with numerous recreations. The upcoming show is slated to release on the 9th of November this year on Netflix.

The trailer reveals quite some glimpses of the thrilling plot and has been highly liked by the fans. While the key visual features the main characters. The cast includes Ryoko Shiraishi, Yumiri Hanamori, Fairouz Ai, Yukiyo Fujii, Toshio Furukawa, Yuuki Kaji, Yuuko Mita, and Toshio Furukawa.

Akuma-kun anime will be directed by Junichi Sato and Fumitoshi Oizaki. While the series composition will be done by Hiroshi Oonagi, Toei Animation and Encourage Films are animating the show. No disclaimer for the series has been given so far.

 

The series has obtained three major adaptions in 1963, 1970s, and 1980s. The anime follows the story of Akuma-kun a boy who shields the power of demons to build a peaceful world. The series will show a beautiful reincarnation while sticking to the original anime.
