Good Night World anime adaption confirmed!! Here’s everything you need to know

Uru Okabe’s famous manga series is finally getting an anime adaption. The news came to light when Netflix released the teaser trailer of the upcoming show. It has been scheduled to release on the 12th of October this year.

 

The promotional video showcased some interesting insights from the plot and fans are anticipating the best outcome of it. The anime will be streamed on Netflix.

The show will be produced by NAZ Studious and directed by Katsuya Kikuchi. Michiko Yokote will be composing the series and also act as a screenplay writer. While Suzuna Okuyama will be handling the character design.

The opening song ‘Black Crack’ will be performed by NIJISANJI’s Kuzuha while the ending song ‘Salvia’ will be performed by NIJISANJI’s Nornis.

The Good Night World manga series was published from 2015 to 2017. It was serialised in Ura Sunday, a webcomic site in Japan.

Netflix has obtained the distribution rights to the show and described its plot as-

“A shut-in older brother. A high-achieving younger brother. A father who is not respected by his own children.A mother who neglects her own household. This is a broken family, and none of its members know that they are all players in an online game.”
