Prime Video India announced their upcoming docuseries AP Dhillon: First of a Kind. The series is being made on the musical sensation AP Dhillon and will showcase his real-life story, which hasn’t been told.
AP Dhillon: First of a Kind is a docuseries featuring the life of AP Dhillon whose real name is Amritpal Singh Dhillon. The series is directed by Jay Ahmed and is produced by PASSION Pictures in coalition with Wildsheep Content and Run-Up Records. The series is divided into four parts, which will shed light on his early life and how he came to become a sensational singer.
Through the artist’s close interviews including friends and mentors, the series takes an in-depth dive into the singer’s life depicting his motivations and hardships that he faced in the long run.
The series is set to premiere on Prime Video on the 18th of August. Head of Indian Prime Video Aparna Purohit said, “Stories of triumph and success will always find resonance among viewers, and AP Dhillon’s journey to self-made superstardom is intriguing and inspiring.”
