YouTube TV’s new feature lets you watch multiple content on a single screen- Here’s how to use it

YouTube has grown immensely since its release and becoming widely popular among the masses due to the easy accessibility of content. The platform is not just restricted to watching funny videos but also caters to many other options such as YouTube Music, YouTube Gaming, and even YouTube TV.

YouTube TV has become a trending thing for smart TV users as it provides the preferred content. The platform has now introduced a multiview option, which will provide users to watch shows and play games simultaneously on the same screen.

YouTube initially introduced this feature during the Basketball Tournament in 2023. Earlier, the multiview option was only restricted to games. But later on, the streaming platform also introduced weather, finance, and sports in both English and Spanish language. In August, they even introduced more sports-related content such as WNBA, NFL Sunday Ticket, and FIFA Women’s World Cup.

If you have a YouTube TV subscription, then you can access the multiview feature by opening the app on your smart TV or any other operating system. You will find the multi-screen option in the ‘Top Picks for You’ category. Also, if users want to watch premium sports then they will have to buy an additional subscription plan.

It is also to be noted that if you are watching YouTube through Primetime channels, then you will have to buy a subscription for the specified channels to access the multiview feature. And this feature is only available for premium subscribers.

In order to hear audio from a particular view, then you will have to press the select button on your remotes. If you want to watch one game, then select again which will showcase a fullscreen view on your TV screens. And if you want captions, scroll down and click on the captions options to turn them on or off.
