WhatsApp is going to introduce a new chat filter feature on its portal. The process is under trial and the upcoming feature will help users to search chat on the basis of particular features.
WhatsApp already introduced a filter feature on its Business account platform last year, which enables users on WhatsApp Business to tap on the search bar and the filters will be visible. Meta-owned messenger apps will also be going to introduce this feature for their Android, iOS, and desktop versions and there the filter will be always visible for non-business accounts, according to a report by WABetaInfo.
WhatsApp is going to launch a chat feature that will help users to search for read, unread, contacts, non-contacts, and groups. The feature will soon be available in the upcoming updates. Also, unlike the business account, in the standard app, the filters will be always even when you are not searching for chats or contacts.

The messaging app has been continuously bringing new updates and features that enable users to chat and share freely and also stay connected to their close ones. This new feature is under trial for the beta users of the desktop version and soon it will also open up for the general public.
Recently, the app also introduced an option that supports users to send files up to 2GB, add contacts to 512 members in a group chat, and even advanced its end-to-end encryption guidelines.
