The makers of Umamusume: Pretty Derby season 3 have revealed a new promotional and key visual for the upcoming season. The prequel series is going to hit your TV screens on the 4th of October this year. The teaser trailer gives a quick sneak peek into the gripping plot and talks more about the characters.

Based on the sports genre, the series is created by Cygames as a part of their multimedia franchise. A mobile game was introduced for Android and iOS users in February 2021. The first season of the series was released on the 2nd of April 2018 and was animated by P.A Works.

The recent project of the company is the animated web series Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Road to the Top. It was directed by Chengzhi Liao and created by Cygames Pictures. Released on the 16th of April this year, the anime has four episodes in all.

The upcoming third season of the franchise will be directed by Kei Oikawa at Studio KAI, which also animated the second season. Nagai Shingo will be handling the series composition along with Tetsuya Kobari. Yosuke Kabashima is the character designer for the anime and will also act as the chief animation director. Tomoki Tsuji has also been assigned as the character designer.
