The Indian Premier League Auctions 2023 witnessed a lot of highest bids of the IPL history and one such player was Nicholas Pooran who was acquired by Lucknow Super Giants.
Nicholas Pooran got sold to LSG at a whopping amount of INR 16 crore which the room was surprisingly stating it to be LSG’s overwhelming budget for Pooran.
Stating about the fact, Gautam Gambhir stated that we have been eyeing on players like Pooran who can give the team a fortunate option of batting at top order as well as being considerably worthy to bat lower in the order.

Pooran is also a satisfactory buy for LSG as it opens a wicket-keeping option too, to which Gambhir is happy about.
Gautam Gambhir stated that the people might think that INR 16 crore on Pooran was an overestimation but the team is happy to acquire some base players like Jaydev Unadkat, Daniel Sams, and others.
