Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is to release in July, here’s everything we know

Jujutsu Kaisen is back with a bang after three long years of waiting period. The anime has been renewed for a second season and is all set to make a grand appearance on your TV screens on the 6th of July. The first look of the upcoming season was released on the 24th of March, giving the audience some insights into the thrilling plot.

The trailer showcased some early-life scenes of fan-favorite character Satoru Gojo and action-packed elements which had the viewers gushing with excitement for the latest installment. It will have 23 episodes in total and each episode with a running time of 20-30 minutes. The anime will also be streamed on Crunchyroll and Netflix simultaneously. Although, there hasn’t been any announcement regarding the English dubbed version. As per reports, it won’t take long as expected but will be available by August.

The new season will also introduce us to some new faces such as Yu Haibara, Shiu Kong, Kento Nanami, Utahime Lori, Mei Mei, Misato Kuroi, and Masamichi Yaga. The second season is directed by Shota Goshozono and created by Mappa Studios. The first season was released on the 3rd of October 2020.

Being adapted from Gege Akutami’s renowned manga series of the same name, the animated show has been highly appreciated by the audience on a wider spectrum. The story follows the life of a high-school student Yuji Itadori who gets possessed by a powerful curse known as Ryomen Sukuna. In order to get rid of the curse, he joins the secret organization Jujutsu Sorcerers and decides to fight supernatural beings by protecting the world.
