IPL Auctions: Check out the purse balance, retained players, and available slots for KKR

Indian Premier League (IPL) released the list for the upcoming auction, which will take place in Kochi on December 23. A total of 405 cricket players will be auctioned off. The 10 franchises initially selected 369 players from the list of 991 players who had signed up for the IPL’s 2023 season. A total of 405 players will be offered at the IPL 2023 Auction after the franchises later requested the addition of 36 players, who were included in the final list.

Out of those 405 players in the list, 273 are Indians, 132 are overseas players while four are from associate nations. Meanwhile, 119 of those 405 players are capped international players while 282 are uncapped.

The KKR team, two-time champions of the most popular cricket tournament in the world, came in seventh place the previous year. With some prominent players on their lineup, they appear poised to reclaim their former glory this season. The team has released 15 players this year while keeping a total of 14 players. There are 11 open spots on the team list, 3 of which are designated for international players.
