IPL Auctions 2023: Uncapped wicket-keeper KS Bharat to play for Gujarat Titans as franchise buys player for INR 1.2 crore

Uncapped Indian star KS Bharat once again gets a secured position in the IPL season as Gujarat Titans buy Bharat at an incredible price of INR 1.20 crore

KS Bharat is a well-known name in domestic cricket and has been travelling with the Indian Test squad as a backup option behind the stumps for some time. However, the wicketkeeper-batter has yet to make his international debut. The 29-year-old has extensive domestic cricket experience, having represented Andhra Pradesh.

Bharat did appear in a few IPL games for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2021 season and performed admirably. He was signed by the Delhi Capitals for INR 2 crore in the IPL 2022 mega auction but did not play a single game that season. The franchise recently released him, which came as a surprise.
