The big-hitting left-hand batsman and dangerous right-arm seam bowler last played in the IPL in 2021, but he opted out of this year’s edition due to injury.
Stokes was instrumental in England’s T20 World Cup victory in November and led the Test team to a historic series victory in Pakistan this month.
