The previous episode of Horimiya: The Missing Pieces focused on Kakeru Sengoku. The episode started with Shu, Ishikawa, and Miyamura having a sleepover at Sengoku’s place. However, due to lack of space, Sengoku sleeps on the upper bunk, wherein he tries to see under Miyamura’s shirt.
This doesn’t turn out well, because Shu caught him while doing that which leads to a wrong misunderstanding. Shu’s imagination seems high-rocketed while Sengoku tries to explain he is curious about why Miyamura is covered most of the time. But in the end, Ishikawa makes a note of it that Miyamura’s secret is not revealed.
The episode also showcased some heartwarming scenes such as Sengoku and Remi’s walking home. They are seen having a fun time together. She asks him to hold her hand and even kiss her, but he rejects all of her proposals. Though, Sengoku sends her cookies through Sakura, to lighten up her mood.
