Haigakura anime adaption is confirmed! Here’s everything you need to know

The official announcement regarding the anime adaption of Haigakura was made on Wednesday. A key visual has been revealed along with a release date. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024. Takayama has especially drawn the poster visual for the anime.

Haigakura is a Japanese manga series written by Shinobu Takayama. It was published by Ichijinsha and serialized in their Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine from 2008 to 2015. And then in Zero-Sum Online on the 12th of September 2015. The manga has 16 volumes released so far.

Based on a fantasy-action theme, the story is set in a fictional realm where immortals and humans coexist. The four gods also known as the four evils rule the world. Eventually, two of them flee out of the country and that creates havoc all over the place.

Ichiyou, a poet warrior is assigned with the task to find the two evil gods and bring them back. He uses a special technique known as Kessai, which helps in finding the evil gods spread all over the world. Ichiyou will be accompanied by his follower Tenkou in this task in order to save their planet from collapsing.
