Zakir Hasan, the opening batsman for the hosts in the current Test match between India and Bangladesh, managed to record an incredible century.
Zakir is now the fourth Bangladeshi batsman to open his Test career with a century. Three other Bangladeshi batsmen, Aminul Islam, Mohammad Ashraful, and Abul Hasan, have each reached a century in a Test match.
Bangladesh is currently playing well, having scored 200 runs and needing just about 300 more to win this incredible Test match, which could come back to haunt team India as it will affect their chances of competing in the WTC Finals. Zakir Hasan also becomes the first Bangladeshi opener in Test history to reach 100 runs on debut.
