The classic anime One Piece is getting a live-action adaption and fans could not help but anticipate the best outcome of the series. One Piece, one of the most popular anime of all time was initially adapted from the manga series written by Eiichiro Oda and published in Weekly Shonen Jump.

The fantasy adventure anime is now getting a live-action adaption, which will be released on Netflix on the 31st of August. The streaming platform also released a new trailer featuring the main cast. The trailer even showcases many scenes from the first arc of the anime, the East Blue Saga.

The trailer also suggests that the series will be featuring the East Blue Saga part on Netflix. The cast includes Inaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The writer Oda himself has given thumbs up to the series and One Piece has even posted a letter of gratitude by him. Netflix will be sticking to the anime’s subtlety and showcase it will loyal adaption. After the mishap that happened after Cowboy Bebop, which couldn’t go well on the streaming platform, its attempt to make the series more original has been evident.

One Piece manga started to publish in the year 1977 and was highly appreciated by the audience while the anime adaption was taken in 1999 and is still doing a great job worldwide. The anime is being loved immensely and is one of the fan favorites of all time.
