Indian Premier League (IPL) released the list for the upcoming auction, which will take place in Kochi on December 23. A total of 405 cricket players will be auctioned off. The 10 franchises initially selected 369 players from the list of 991 players who had signed up for the IPL’s 2023 season. A total of 405 players will be offered at the IPL 2023 Auction after the franchises later requested the addition of 36 players, who were included in the final list.
Out of those 405 players in the list, 273 are Indians, 132 are overseas players while four are from associate nations. Meanwhile, 119 of those 405 players are capped international players while 282 are uncapped.
The 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was yet another unsatisfactory one for Sunrisers Hyderabad, and they were eliminated from the league stage after only managing 6 victories from 14 games. SRH captain Kane Williamson was reappointed for IPL 2021, but he was unable to lead his team to the playoffs. Nicholas Pooran and he have both been released by SRH.

Speaking of the coaching staff, the franchise has demonstrated its confidence in the team management by keeping coaches like Brian Lara, Dale Steyn, and Hemang Badani on board. But Tom Moody’s contract has been terminated. For IPL 2023, Lara will serve as SRH’s head coach.
SRH has an available balance 42.25 crore, the highest in the room but with more money, the team has more available slots and needs to fill more gaps than other franchises.
