Sharman Joshi, who played the role of Raju in 3 Idiots film has shared an update regarding its sequel. 3 Idiots featured Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi in lead roles, and the movie is still considered as one of the masterpieces due to the engaging plotline and thought-provoking insights.

In a recent interview, Sharman Joshi shared that the director Rajkumar Hirani has conveyed some ideas for the sequel and has also demanded that there must be no compromise on the quality of the plot. Therefore, we hope that the sequel will happen soon.

The actor further added that they all have exchanged some ideas before but never really took them afar. Also, Rajkumar Hirani has potential in terms of work and wants to bring out good work on the sequel. And he also doesn’t compromise on the quality, story, and standards.

Earlier this year, when the main leads of the film collaborated on an advertisement, the audience took it in a different manner and thought that the ad is regarding the official announcement for the sequel of the film.

In response to this event, he said, “When they got to know that it was an ad, the fans were really disappointed, not just this, we even got some gaalis from fans. It was actually really exciting to be back after a really long time. I was part of the campaign concept and the fact that we had someone who was willing to invest that kind of me, to me, I think it was beautiful.”

3 Idiots was initially released in the year 2009. Other than the main leads, the film featured Karina Kapoor Khan, Boman Irani, and Mona Singh in pivotal roles. The film earned a gross revenue of Rs 400 crore worldwide and is still considered one of the best films of all time.
