WhatsApp is currently working on making its platform more convenient for users and releasing new updates every now and then. The Meta-owned app has also enhanced its security policies and given individual privacy more preference.
The messaging platform is now testing on a history-sharing feature for new group members. The enhancement will be incorporated for Android users. According to WABetaInfo’s report, WhatsApp will inculcate new settings for the groups titled Recent History Sharing.
This development will share the texts that were sent in the group 24 hours before the individual joined in. It will help understand the users what is the conversation about they will get the context of the chat. Once the feature is released, it will be viable by the admins.

The latest history-sharing feature is in the testing stage and will be rolling out in the near future. It will be beneficial to know the exact backstory to the present messages and they will not be left blank.
In this month, WhatsApp has introduced a slew of new features to make the app more engaging for users. A multi-account feature was released earlier which enabled individuals to create multiple accounts within the same app. They can access each account simultaneously by logging out and switching to other accounts. This has made the work easier and users don’t need to create accounts on different devices. And they can even keep their work and personal chats different.
It was also reported that WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that would users to create and share AI stickers for Android devices.
