Before that, for those unversed, Adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander novel series, Outlander is a historical drama television series. The series, which was created by Ronald D. Moore, debuted on Starz on August 9, 2014. The show follows Claire Randall, a former Second World War military nurse in Scotland who, in 1945, finds herself transported back in time to 1743.
Moreover, A prequel television series called Outlander: Blood of My Blood started production in 2022. A 10-episode first season was formally ordered by Starz in January 2023, along with the announcement that the parent series had been renewed for an eighth and final season.
