The upcoming anime Shangri-La Frontier’s new trailer and key visual has been released. The anime is scheduled to premiere on the 1^st of October 2023 and will run for 2 consecutive seasons. The key visual features the main cast for the show and gripping insights from the trailer have also been known.

Shangri-La Frontier is a web novel series written by Katarina. It was later renewed for a manga version and was published by Kodansha. The manga series was serialized in their Weekly Shonen Magazine. It was published on the 15^th of July 2020 and has 14 volumes so far.

In 2022, a television adaption for the same was announced by C2C Studious. The anime will be directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka along with Hiroki Ikeshita, while the series composition will be done by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Ayumi Kurashima has been assigned as the character designer and Satoshi Sakai is the action director.
