Niantic even stated that post-Covid, the expenses are increased instead of the revenue and it is becoming difficult to cope as the new projects and games that they have launched aren’t receiving enough revenue. They believe that the cut down in staff will surely balance the level of expenses and revenue and the company will be able to preserve its core assets and long-term upside.
