Following the critical and commercial success of Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, SonyLiv will release Scam 2003, the sequel to the critically acclaimed crime drama. According to the OTT portal SonyLiv and Applause Entertainment, Hansal Mehta will also direct the second season.

It has garnered a lot of great feedback from the public since then. Tara and Karan, two Delhi-based wedding planners, own a firm called Made in Heaven. The series depicts contemporary-day India as a mix of old and new, with tradition and modern ideals at odds. The show and the stories of the characters are set against the backdrop of grandiose and expensive weddings. However, the shoot of the second season was wrapped in April 2022 but the release date is yet to be announced.
