Four international passengers discharged from Safdarjung Hospital after testing COVID-19 negative

Four foreign travellers who were a part of an Asian tourist group have been discharged from Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital after testing negative for Covid-19 on Wednesday, according to officials. On December 24, a group of 14 travellers underwent screening at Delhi’s IGI Airport before being transported to Safdarjung Hospital for quarantine.

“After a thermal screening at the Delhi airport of the 14 passengers, they were brought to the hospital and when we conducted Covid-19 tests, only four were Covid positive. We have discharged them today after their test results came negative,” an official from Safdarjung Hospital said.

The hospital administration had also notified the country’s embassy, he continued, but after receiving no response, they  discharged the passengers.
