Crunchyroll announces the first-ever screening of anime in India- Check details here

Anime culture has grown immensely in the past years and it is liked by the majority of the population due to its exclusive animation and top-notch plot. The industry has its outreach all over the world and became a leading mass culture in several countries. The anime will also witness a dynamic change in the Indian viewership statistic as the first anime event is being launched in Mumbai itself.

Crunchyroll took to its Instagram account and made an announcement regarding the launch of the first-ever special screening in India. They posted Tiger Shroff’s picture and captioned it by writing, “Crunchyroll partners with Indian star Tiger Shroff to promote the art of anime in India.”

The screening will take place on the 20th of July at 5:30 pm. The venue for the event is Maison PVR, Jio World Drive in Mumbai. Crunchyroll has partnered with Comic-Con for the launch of the screening. The announcement was made on Friday with aiming towards promoting anime culture widely among the Indian audience.

Registration for the event has begun and the company will assign signs seats on the basis of a first come first serve nature. Crunchyroll had done giveaways for a free 30-day subscription to the people who attended the Mumbai Comic Con 2023 event, which was being held in collaboration with the streaming platform.
