Classroom of the Elite season 3 has been announced and the show will be going to release in January 2024. Earlier, the season was scheduled to release in 2023, but due to certain complications, the date was pushed further. The makers on Sunday revealed a new key visual at the MF Bunko J Summer School Festival event, to spark up audiences’ curiosity.

The key visual featured the main characters of the series Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and Arisu Sakayanagi standing with their back facing each other. During the live stream event, the new game relating to the anime was also announced. The game is entitled “Classroom of the Elite ~Merge Puzzle Special Test~ and it will be released in January 2024. The same time as the third season’s release.

The story revolves around a boy Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, who gets admitted to a special schooling program that helps students gain a better perspective, allowing a bright future. Kiyotaka is modest and a simple guy and is not good at socializing while he is exceptionally intelligent.

He is a student of Class D, where inferior students are been allocated. But after meeting Suzune Horikita and Kikyo Kushida, his life takes an interesting turn as he starts getting involved in many things.

The psychological thriller anime is adapted from Shogo Kinugasa’s light novel series, which was published from 2015 to 2019. The book series was later taken into a manga version, which was published in 2017 in Monthly Comic Alive. It was later being animated by Lerche Studious for Television broadcasting with the first season getting aired in 2017.

The anime constitutes the basic values of connecting together, it also showcases how school politics runs. And is considered one of the best psychological thriller anime, with a gripping plot and character design. The show also engulfs in a lot of comedy scenes and due to its impeccable content, the show has been renewed for another season.
