Bomb threat on Moscow- Delhi flight

According to a senior police official quoted in a PTI story, the aircraft has been isolated and nothing has been found thus far.

A bomb threat against a flight of the Russian carrier Aeroflot arriving in the nation’s capital early on Friday morning has been the subject of an inquiry, according to authorities.

According to PTI, an email warning of a bomb on the Moscow-Delhi flight was sent to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The entire flight’s crew and passengers disembarked right away, and the aircraft was checked.

“There was a call at 11:15 pm about a bomb in the flight coming from Moscow to Terminal 3 (T3) at 3:20 tonight. Flight number SU232 landed on runway 29,” an official said.

16 crew members and 386 passengers in all deplaned from the aircraft. Aeroflot was flying their Airbus A330 aircraft to Delhi.

After receiving intelligence from Lahore’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) about a potential bomb threat, which proved to be unfounded, the Indian Air Force (IAF) was forced to scramble Su-30MKI fighter fighters to shadow an Iranian Mahan Air flight. When a warning was raised, Mahan Air flight W581 was en route from Tehran to Guangzhou in China.
