Berserk of Gluttony anime’s new key visual revealed- Check out


The official announcement regarding the making of television adaption of Berserk of Gluttony was made last year in October. Ever since that fans have been anticipating the show that has been hyped over for months now. The anime is scheduled to release in October this year and the makers have released yet another key visual to spike up the audience’s curiosity.

Based on a dark fantasy novel written by Ichika Isshiki, it was originally published on the 24th of January 2017. It was later altered into a light novel series in November and was published by Micro Magazine. The novel light series had eight volumes in total. In 2018, a manga version was also released and serialized in Comic Ride magazine.

The anime will be directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa at A.C.GT Studious. While Crunchyroll has taken the licensing rights. The script is written by Mariko Kunisawa and the character design is done by Takafumi Furusawa.


In 2020, Seven Seas Entertainment asserted that they have licensed the light novel series in North America. They even published several volumes of the novel as well as the manga series and describes the plot as-

“Graphite is one of the forsaken. Cursed with the skill “Gluttony,” he is ever starving, never sated…until the day he kills a dying thief and devours the man’s strength—and his soul. The true hunger of Fate’s Gluttony has awakened, and if he can learn to control his power, he will at last be the master of his own destiny.”
