A tourist submarine showcasing the Titanic’s wreckage has gone missing in the Atlantic Ocean

A submersible that used to take tourists underneath the waters to witness the damage being occurred to the Titanic ship has gone missing. A search and rescue operation has been launched to locate and sustain the vessel, the Boston Coastguard told BBC. As of now, it hasn’t been known how many passengers were on board while taking the voyage.

The Titanic got submerged on the 15th of April 1912 while being struck by an iceberg. The horrifying tragedy has caused the death of over 1500 travelers and several casualties. It is currently being sunk at a depth of 3,800 meters, which is 600km off the coast of Newfoundland in Canada.

In 1985, the ship was discovered, and with the terrible amount of damage that was being incurred. Since then, it was explored in a wider range and also became a matter of interest to the masses. In February, a video was released that showcased the largest ship ever made and its deteriorating situation. The video was 90 minutes long and was uploaded on YouTube later on.

The ship, which was termed as unsinkable faced the brutal incident on its maiden journey being set from England and was going to arrive at NewYork. Magellan Ltd and Atlantic Productions are currently working on a documentary about the damage that has transpired to the vessel.
