Goblin Slayer season 2 reveals new trailer and release window- Here’s what we know

The official website of Goblin Slayer season 2 revealed a new trailer on Friday. The makers also revealed October 2023 premiere date. The opening song ‘Entertainment’ for the second installment will be performed by Mili while Yuki Nakashima will be singing the ending song ‘Kasumi no Muko e,’ also known as To the Other Side of the Mist.
Goblin Slayer anime is adapted from the light novel series of the same name. It is written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki. It is later also adapted for a manga version. Based on a dark fantasy theme, the anime has gained widespread popularity for its thrilling plot.

The first season was released on the 7th of October 2018, including 12 episodes. In 2020, Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown movie was also released, which was animated by White Fox Studious.
The upcoming season will be animated by LINDENFILMS with Takaharu Ozaki being the chief director and Misato Takada directing the show. The series composition will be done by Hideyuki Kurata while the character design will be handled by Hiromi Kato. Kenichiro Suehiro will be the head of the music department.

Yen Press publishes the light novel series and manga in the English language and describes the plot of the anime as-
“A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It’s the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue–a man who’s dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there’s no telling who might come calling next…”
