This five-part show featuring national parks from around the globe is produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company “Higher Ground”. He becomes the second president after D. Eisenhower to win an Emmy award. The two term US president won Grammy awards for his fabulous reads of two of his memoirs, The Audacity of Hope and A Promised Land. Audacity of hope is an exemplary account of how Barack Obama held his position as a senator, as a politician and eventually as the President of USA. A Promised Land is a personal account of history in the making- from the president who inspired to believe in the power of democracy.
