With the announcement of Netflix ordering a 2nd season for Wednesday, comes more inquiries. So far, the indestructible child of woe has been chased, haunted, nearly killed and tortured in ways she no doubt liked, but which were a wringer for us nevertheless. And now that her journey is going to continue, the star Goth at Nevermore Academy appears to be on the rise. But what will occur next? Here’s everything we know so far.
There are no affirmed plot details for season 2, although the makers have suggested that it would start after the Wednesday season 1 finale. A short recap: after working out the murders were the handiwork of a Hyde monster, being controlled by Laurel Gates, Wednesday sets out to find who is responsible.
The last couple of moments of The Wednesday season 1ending see Tyler in some kind of custody, yet apparently going to break out as he changes into Hyde. In the meantime, as Wednesday says goodbye to her classmates and plans to head off for the year, she receives a surprising message on the new phone Xavier gave her to keep in touch with him over the break. She begins getting threatening messages and photographs of herself from a mysterious stalker. It’s not yet clear what this’ identity is, however, they are certain to bring some more trouble in season 2.
