1. Born in Delhi

Aman was born in 1982 in Delhi. He belonged to a well to do Hindu family. While Shark Tank India aired on television, Aman has several times described his childhood days.

2. Education

In 1998, Aman cleared pass out in Commerce stream from Delhi Public School. He then enrolled in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College to pursue B.Com. But Aman’s father advised him to pursue a career as Chartered Accountant (CA), so he took admission in the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICAI) CA program. He became a CA in the year 2002, making him one of the youngest CAs in India at the age of 20. Later Aman also completed MBA from Indian Business School.

3. Career before boAt

After becoming a CA, Aman joined Citibank as an assistant manager. Later in 2005, he founded Advanced Telemedia Pvt Ltd with his father but the business was a flop. After completing his MBA in 2010, he worked with KPMG as Senior Consultant & then with Harman International as Director.

4. Personal life

Aman has two siblings, brother Anmol Gupta & sister Neha Gupta. In 2008, Aman married Priya Dagar & has two daughters Ada & Miraya Gupta.
