“The public and Parliament are unable to know the real situation at the border,” Congress leader Sonia Gandhi lashes out at the central government
Congress leader Sonia Gandhi lashed out at central government citing Indo-China concerns.
Sonia Gandhi conducted a meeting of all party MPs in Parliament to determine the plan for the remaining Winter Session, brainstorm and come to an agreement.
During this party meet, Sonia Gandhi took the opportunity to lash out at central government, for being “adamant” to hold any discussion about Indo-China border clash in the Parliament.
“The government is being adamant and not holding a discussion on it. The public and Parliament are unable to know the real situation at the border. Why is the government not sending out a financial reply to the Chinese transgression?” she said.
The Congress parliamentary party (CPP) meet was held at Parliament’s Central Hall with party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and all party MPs in attendance. Sonia Gandhi is the chairperson of the CPP.
“The meeting of the CPP was held today in the Central Hall of the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Congress Parliamentary Party President Smt. Sonia Gandhi,” the party tweeted.
