This highly famous Japanese company began manufacturing vehicles in 1933 and has since turned into a multinational company with a global presence. Toyota introduced the Prius in 1997, which was the first hybrid vehicle to be mass-produced.

In 2022, Tesla had a total net worth of roughly $828.85 billion, making it the most valuable automaker in the world. It also beats out everyone else in terms of sales per year. The company now offers four electric vehicle models: Model S, Model X, Model Y, and Model 3. Different models in the works include the Cybertruck and Tesla Roadster but are promised to be available in 2023.
