Senior executive Manish Chopra resigns from META: Fourth major exit in last 6 months

Meta’s Director and Head of Partnership in India, Manish Chopra, has announced his resignation, making an exit from the company he had joined in January 2019.

Chopra took to his LinkedIn handle to announce his resignation. However, he has mentioned that he will be helping the transition iver the next few weeks.

He shared a picture on his LinkedIn and wrote, “I am grateful to the company for trusting me with building out our efforts to drive growth & engagement across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.” Further in his note, he expressed his gratitude and said how proud is he of his team which were more like an ally to him. He concluded with saying that he has been looking forward to a new phase in his professional life, about which he shall keep us updated.

Vice President of Meta India, Sandhya Devanathan thanked him for his contributions in the comment section.

Since last November, Chopra’s resignation is the fourth instance of a senior member leaving the company. Earlier, Ajit Mohan, India head, Rajiv Aggarwal, Publlic policy chief, and Abhijit Bose, WhatsApp India head, resigned within days of each other
