PTI reports that while transporting the patient to the hospital in a small town in Odisha, the ambulance’s driver pulled over to consume alcohol.
The patient, who had one leg plastered, sipped his drink while lying down on the stretcher, while the driver was seen downing his peg in one gulp. Bystanders recorded the strange incident, and those videos were posted on social media on Monday.
The ambulance driver is seen offering a peg to the patient in this viral post, which is being shared by online users.
