When we talk about Asia, we talk about it being the largest continent situated and spanning across eastern and northern hemispheres. The landmass spreads across Europe and Africa. It covers about 30% of the world’s land area if you put in numbers it is a whopping 44,579,000 square kilometers. Close to 60% of the world’s population dwells in Asia.
Asia has the Pacific Ocean on the east and down south it has the Indian Ocean, with the Arctic Ocean to its North. The Eurasian border is of historical and cultural significance.

The highest count of billionaires are from Asia and Korean pop music and Korean drama have taken the world by a wave.
Asia is home to the highest mountains like the Himalayas, Karakoram, and the Hindu Kush. And Asia is incredibly diverse in flora and fauna. The animals specific to the Asian continent are Asiatic lions, tigers, wild Asian water buffalos, Asian elephants, Indian rhinoceros, Javan rhinoceros, and Malayan tapir.
Two of the 7 wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal (Agra, India) and the Great Wall of China (Huairou district, China) are in Asia.
