India’s Electronics Manufacturing and Exports Will Reach $300 Billion by 2026, Says MoS Chandrasekhar

According to Rajeev Chandrasekhar, India’s minister of state for electronics and information technology, the country has committed to manufacturing and exporting electronic goods worth USD 300 billion by 2025–2026.
According to Chandrasekhar, the government is dedicated to collaborating with all states to encourage startups and businesspeople who are eager to engage in this industry in order to accomplish this milestone.

He said “Our vision is to edge past the target of USD 300 billion worth of electronic manufacturing and exports by 2025-26. It translates to Rs 25 lakh crore, 24 times more than what it was when PM Modi took over in 2014 to 1.10 lakh crore.”
The government’s proactive policies and well-calibrated programmes will support every startup and every entrepreneur to make this dream a reality, he said.
“The Electronics Manufacturing Clusters are fast becoming centres of creation of electronics manufacturing, innovation and jobs. They will be playing a big role in the future and shape India’s Techade in both design innovation and electronics manufacturing that are important areas of interest for our youth,” he explained.
