Hailey Bieber says that Justin’s feeling a lot better
Justin Bieber revealed his facial paralysis diagnosis on Instagram last week.
Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Bieber has revealed that he is “getting better every single day” after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. “He’s doing really well … he’s feeling a lot better and obviously it was just a very scary and random situation to happen,” According to Page Six, the model, 25, remarked during an interview on Good Morning America.
Hailey also spoke about the support she and her husband, 28, have received from fans. “Every single person has sent well wishes, advice, recommendations,” she shared. “It’s been really amazing.” Hailey further stated that they were able to find the “silver lining in it all” while dealing with his condition, only three months after being admitted to the hospital. Justin, on the other hand, had to cancel two of his New York City shows earlier this week owing to facial paralysis caused by a rare neurological illness.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is characterized by a severe rash around the ear, on the face, or on the lips. According to Page Six, it arises when the varicella-zoster virus attacks a nerve in the brain, causing paralysis in certain cases. Meanwhile, on Monday, Justin gave his fans another update, saying that he was already feeling much better after relying on his faith. “Wanted to share a little bit of how I’ve been feeling. Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me,” he wrote at the time.
Hailey, on the other hand, offered an update on her health during her talk with Robach and Holmes, following a mild stroke earlier this year that prompted a surgical procedure to patch a hole in her heart. “I feel good,” she said. “I’m just giving my body the time to heal and recover … but I’m doing well now.”
