After a stock split, Dolly Khanna’s portfolio stock has reached the upper circuit
Dolly Khanna’s portfolio: Ajanta Soya shares saw a threefold increase in trading today compared to the prior session.
Despite the recent slump in Indian stock markets, Ajanta Soya’s share price has risen to the upper circuit. After a 5:1 stock split, Dolly Khanna’s stock opened for trading at 53.80 per share on the BSE today. Within minutes of the opening bell, the BSE-listed Ajanta Soya share price opened at 53.80 and touched a 5% upper circuit of 56.90. In early morning trade on Thursday, Ajanta Soya shares saw a threefold increase in volume compared to the previous session.
Ajanta Soya’s stock opened at 53.80 today and began to rise after hitting an intraday low of 53.50 on the BSE. The BSE-listed shares struck a 5% upper circuit at 56.90, leaving no buyers, despite the secondary market continuing to sell off for the fifth straight session.
This Dolly Khanna portfolio stock had closed at 258.65 on the BSE prior to the Ajanta Soya stock split.
Informing about the stock-split approval provided by the depositories, Ajanta Soya Ltd said, “This is in reference to the captioned matter, we pleased to inform the new ISIN of the equity shares of Rs. 2 each, post sub-division of Equity Shares of the Company has been provided by the depositories-CDSL and NSDL Le. INE601B01023.”
Dolly Khanna owns a stake in Ajanta Soya
According to Ajanta Soya’s shareholding pattern for the January to March 2022 quarter, ace investor from Chennai owns 2,34,666 shares, or 1.46 percent of the firm. Dolly Khanna owned 1,78,500 shares, or 1.11 percent of the firm, in the October to December 2021 quarter. This means that in Q4 FY2021-22, the marquee investor increased her holding in the company by 0.35 percent, or 56,166 Ajanta Soya shares.
Dolly Khanna added Ajanta Soya to her portfolio in the third quarter of 2021, purchasing a 1.10 percent ownership in the company.
