In an interview with Aaj TV following the incident, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry stated that the former prime minister had been shot in the leg. Three other leaders were also hurt, he added.

Farrukh Habib, a senior member of Khan’s party, too, said that the former Prime Minister was injured. “The cowards have shown their times Imran Khan is injured, may Allah protect him, the whole nation should pray for the life of Imran Khan,” he tweeted.
Shots were fired at Imran Khan’s welcoming camp at Gujranwala’s Allahwala Chowk, according to Geo TV. The former prime minister of Pakistan is in charge of a lengthy anti-government march toward Islamabad.
