Orange Alert Issued: Rajasthan to see heavy rains in the next 3–4 days
In anticipation of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the state’s Ganganagar and Hanumangarh districts during the next 24 hours, the MeT Department has issued a “orange alert.”

There will likely be significant rain in Rajasthan over the next three to four days, according to an orange notice from the Meteorological Department. The MeT department reports that despite the activity of two new western disturbances, the monsoon will continue to be active in various areas of the state on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
For the upcoming 24 hours, the centre has issued a “orange alert” for severe to very heavy rainfall in the state’s Ganganagar and Hanumangarh districts. Additionally, it is expected to rain heavily and extremely heavily in various locations, including the divisions of Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Kota.
During the previous 24 hours, which ended at 8.30 am on Friday, Dausa received the state’s greatest rainfall of 9 cm. Paota in Jaipur received 4 cm of rain, while Shahabad in Baran, Rajgarh in Churu, and Mandawar in Alwar all received 5 cm. Additionally, on Friday, it rained throughout the day in a few locations. 51.5 mm of rain fell in Nainwa, Bundi, 43.5 mm in Ramganj Mandi, 42.5 mm in Anta, Baran, and 35.8 mm in Kota during this time period.
