Uncoupled Season 2: What could be the plot?

For all that we know, the show broadly follows a newly single gay Manhattanite navigating the dating scene for the first time in 17 years after getting abruptly dumped by his long-term partner. As he adjusts to being single in his late 40s, he discovers that the gay dating environment has changed while he was in a relationship, and he rapidly realizes that in order to not be single forever, he must take action.

Furthermore, since the second we of the series is not happening we cannot predict the plotline.
