Suriya and Jyothika will star in Sai Pallavi’s next film Gargi

Sai Pallavi is preparing for her upcoming film, Gargi, which looks promising, following a standout performance in Virata Parvam. Today it was revealed that Suriya and Jyothika would be presenting the movie through their production company 2D Pictures. The couple will show the film in Tamil.

As they shared their delight about working together, Suriya and Sai Pallavi both posted on Twitter. Suriya tweeted a couple of images of himself with Sai Pallavi and the team and captioned, “Jo & I are glad to associate with team #Gargi Some characters just stay in our minds! New thoughts and writing must be celebrated! Hope you all like it!@Sai_Pallavi92 #Jyotika.”

Sai Pallavi is ecstatic that Jyothika and Suriya have joined the cast. She wrote, “Thank you @Suriya_offl Sir and #Jyotika mam for the kind gesture. This means a lot @SakthiFilmFctry@2D_ENTPVTLTD#Gargi.”

Gautham Ramachandran wrote the script, helmed the camera, and produced the movie along with Ravichandran Ramachandran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Thomas George, and Gautham Ramachandran. With this movie, actress Aishwarya Lekshmi makes her producing debut. The soundtrack will be composed by Govind Vasantha. The movie has not yet been given a release date.

Sai Pallavi most recently appeared with Rana Daggubati in the box office hit Virata Parvam. Inspired by actual events from the 1990s, Sai Pallavi appeared as Vennela, his ardent lover, while Rana portrayed Comrade Ravanna, also known by his pen name Aranya. Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, and Sai Chand all had significant parts in Virata Parvam.
