Recently, Gomez shared a picture without any makeup and was seen draped in a shawl. Soon after the picture went viral, a few sections of netizens on social media started using it as a meme. These meme posts were also shared by Selena on her Instagram stories.
On Tuesday, the artist posted a screenshot of the meme by Memezar. The post had her new image and a comment which read, “Horror movie characters sitting in the back of an ambulance after almost dying.” In another screenshot shared by her, the meme post read, “My mom just sent me this old picture of my abuela from when she was still living in Mexico, this was taken during a year without rain.”
