On Thursday, May 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended Utkarsh Samaroh in Gujarat via video conferencing. The program was hosted for the beneficiaries of the Gujarat government schemes. While interacting with the people PM Modi got emotional hearing about a man’s problem.
The man identified as Yakub Patel has a vision problem, talking to PM Modi he described his issue & the difficulties his family faces. Yakub further mentions the dream of his eldest daughter to become a doctor. Listening to it PM Modi got emotional & offered his help “Let me know if you need any help to fulfil the dream of your daughters.”
When PM asked Yakub’s eldest daughter why she dreams of becoming a doctor. The girl got emotional and said, “Her father’s medical issues prompted her to become a doctor.”

PM Modi also remarked at the Utkarsh Samaroh that people aren’t able to get benefits from government schemes due to a lack of information. “Due to lack of information about government schemes, they either remain on paper or people not entitled to them take the benefit,” said PM Modi.
